In some of the most notable matchups, the #5 seed in the Shackeel Butters region, Raven Prince, and the #12 seed, Quin’De’Ja Hamilton, fought to a tie. On a seeding tiebreaker, Raven moves on. In the Leroy Butts IV region, #11 TaMiracle Taylor pulled off the most convincing upset of the first round, soundly defeating #6 Toddriana Isler.
