It appears as if the seeding committee has done a phenomenal job so far, with only two first round upsets – #11 seed Sunday John over #6 Godly Marc, and #10 Travarus “Bob” Carroll over #7 Buzzy Hertz. The two biggest blowouts, aside from the top seeds, were #5 Bernie Blunt over #12 Ryce Piper and #4 PJ Pipes over #13 Gabe Wiznitzer.
Notable second round matchups include the clash of the Butters brothers, #2 Shackeel vs. #7 Shavaul, and Legends Geeter and Stamps facing off in a #3/#6 matchup for the ages.
