According to a report from THR, industry analysts are pegging Black Panther for an opening weekend $100-$120 million in North America. The highly anticipated film, direct by Ryan Coogler, is set to open on February 16, on the 4-day Presidents’ Day weekend. If the numbers are correct, it would slide comfortably into the top ten (at worst) for biggest opening weekends for the MCU movies.
Black Panther will be the 18th movie in the Marvel extended universe and the first of three to be released this year.
