After over a month of competition, Daley Handy emerged victorious in the 2021 Tournament of Names. With wins over Nancy Panagiotopoulou Andritsopoulou, Treasure Hunt, and 2019 finalist Forever Toppin, her impressive run is now complete. Jalyn Sackrider performed admirably, but fell short to Handy by a significant number of votes in the championship.
In other tournament news, Fanny Wadling now holds the most individual victories in Tournament of Names history (10), with Toppin in second place (9). This was the first time all four #1 seeds advanced to the Final Four, although the Sweet 16 was filled with more double digit seeds than ever before. Thanks again to all who voted and we will be back next year with the men’s bracket in 2022!
