I know what you’re thinking and the answer is yes, there is a catch to this. Or maybe a couple catches. One, the cruise, as you would likely assume, is in London. Two, it will cost $4,190 per person (871 galleons, 2 sickles, 14 knuts, in case you were wondering). But if those two points don’t scare you off, you would be in for a real treat. According to an article on EW, some of the sites you would see include Virginia Water (Harry’s meeting with Buckbeak in Prisoner of Azkaban), Picket Post Close (4 Privet Drive in Sorcerer’s Stone), Oxford’s Christ Church College (its Great Hall served as the model for Hogwart’s Great Hall), and the Harry Potter tour at the Warner Bros. Studio. So for any Harry Potter superfan who can fork over a few thousand dollars, plus a roundtrip flight to London, this sounds like a must-do activity. And with this coming on the heels of the news of the Harry Potter: A History of Magic exhibition coming to New York later this year, there are some great fan-service events coming up. Better start saving up those galleons!
