Just a quick preview of something fun coming up. There’s no sense in burying the lede here, especially since the title gives it away anyway. The five-year anniversary of the The Office series finale is coming up on May 16th. The Office was my first true TV obsession. For nine (mostly) glorious seasons it time and again provided countless classic sitcom moments. And that’s what I’m here to look back on.
The big one will be my rankings of every single episode. I haven’t yet decided how many posts that will be, but it will likely be at least three. The final post (top 10, 20, whatever I settle on) will be posted on May 16th. In the following few days I will also put out my season rankings as well as covering some of the best cold opens of the series.
You can expect the first set of episode rankings to come out later this week or early next, depending on how many total posts I settle on.
A couple quick notes before I go. I rewatched through Netflix, so I followed their episode listings. For any two-part episode, I considered and ranked them as one single episode. This left me with 185 episodes.
