This is the perfect trailer. It teases just about everything, while giving away next to nothing. I won’t go into too much detail here about the trailer; just enjoy and bask in its awesomeness. But of course there are a few things to point out.
- We see a shot of Jon and Daenerys walking towards the two dragons. Could this be the long-awaited moment of the two Targaryens flying together?
- Arya seems to be excited by the appearance of the dragons, because of course
- Jaime has seemingly made it to Winterfell, keeping his promise to “fight for the living”
- We get a glimpse of the Iron Fleet, which should signal the arrival of Euron with the Golden Company
- Cersei is looking a little too smug for my liking
- And finally, the tease of the battle to end all battles
To anyone who has not read this fantastic article over at EW, it is an absolute must-read for any Game of Thrones fan.
