So the Super Bowl is over and I’m sure everyone has the same question. Are Genie Bouchard and John Goehrke officially a couple? Well after their NFL Canada-sponsored Super Bowl date…we still have no idea. They had a number of couple-like social media posts that make it seem like they just might be together.

If they were any regular people, it would be an open and shut case: yes they are dating. But with these two? Who knows. Whatever they’re doing, they’re playing it perfectly in the public eye. And the more they keep the mystery alive, the more everyone is going to want to follow their every move when they’re together. Genie keeps her name in the press in a super positive way. She’s had issues in the past with critics taking aim at her attitude. Whether or not this whole ordeal was an intentional strategy to redeem her public image, it’s no doubt had massively positive effects for her in that regard. And for John, he just keeps getting awesome perk after awesome perk, all while coming as a really cool dude. He’s just living his best life and every time these two get together, I get more and more jealous. But for my money, I say they’re not dating. Call it a gut feeling, but the more I see them together, the more I get the sense it’s just a very public, fun-loving friendship. But I guess only time will tell.
