SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match
Triple Threat: The Usos (C) vs. The New Day vs. The Bludgeon Brothers
Predicted order: 8th // Actual order: 8th
Predicted winner: Bludgeon Brothers // Actual winner: Bludgeon Brothers
Rating: 5/10

So far, we’ve had a bunch of adequate matches, and this one fits right into that mold. Decent action, a couple of nasty bumps taken, and a predictable winner. While I’m not sold on the Bludgeon Brothers being great characters, this at least freshens up the SmackDown Live tag team scene and makes it possible for the New Day or The Usos to move back to RAW.

John Cena vs. The Undertaker
Predicted order: 11th // Actual order: 9th
Predicted winner: The Undertaker // Actual winner: The Undertaker
Rating: 6/10

Cena spent the first couple matches of the show watching from the crowd until he had a conversation with a WWE official and hurried backstage. He made it out to the ring in his wrestling jorts by the middle of the show and said he was told The Undertaker was in the building. Now guess who came out on the stage at that moment… Elias! Cena was disappointed, disposed of Elias swiftly, and then Undertaker finally made his entrance. He was apparently so mad at Cena for antagonizing him leading up to the show that he won in about five minutes. I’m still shocked at the shortness of this match. I’m guessing Undertaker can’t wrestle for much longer than that, but I also never would expect Cena to lose so quickly. Still, it was awesome to see them fight each other at WrestleMania.

Daniel Bryan & Shane McMahon vs. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn
Predicted order: 9th // Actual order: 10th
Predicted winner: Daniel Bryan & Shane McMahon // Actual winner: Daniel Bryan & Shane McMahon
Rating: 4/10

For all the talent in this match, I was disappointed in the wrestling aspect of it. Daniel Bryan, Sami Zayn, and Kevin Owens are three of the best in-ring performers in the world. The pace was messed up early on when WWE teased a Daniel Bryan injury. He was tended to by the medical staff while Shane wrestled way too much. Daniel finally gained the strength to continue and finished the match, submitting Sami Zayn and banishing him and Kevin Owens from SmackDown Live. The story made sense and I enjoyed the match overall despite the underwhelming wrestling.

RAW Women’s Championship Match
Alexa Bliss (C) vs. Nia Jax
Predicted order: 11th // Actual order: 11th
Predicted winner: Nia Jax // Actual winner: Nia Jax
Rating: 7/10

Hopefully I’ve restored some credibility with four consecutive correct picks! Nia dominated. It was cool to see Alexa hit the Sparkle Splash off the turnbuckle out to the ringside area. Other than that, she got thrown around for the majority of the match. I liked everything about this. Nia finally overcame Alexa’s bullying and won her first championship, looking like a monster in the process (in a good way).
